About This Racing Site

Welcome to AwesomeWreckage.com My name is Vinny and I am the host for the site as well as for the racing forum. Although I am a Nascar newbie acording to the die hards, since I have only been a Nascar fan since 1997 I am considered a newbie to the sport. Below is a picture of me in Jeff Gordons car when I went to the race in Las Vegas in March 2008. 

This site is not about me though, it is about what I consider the greatest sport “auto racing” and especially Nascar racing.  The name of the site suggest that I am a fan of crashes but that is the furthest thing from the truth. A Nascar crash is never a good thing (unless it’s Tony Stewart -Just kidding fans).

The name is actually a combination from two of my favorite The Dollyrots songs “Because I’m Awesome” and “Wreckage”. Since it is almost impossible to get a good auto racing domain I created a name that is easy to remember.

I root for Jimmie Johnson and Reed Sorenson and I always want Dale Earnhardt Jr to do well also. Now I want you to enjoy the site and chime in on the forums. Share your pictures so other Nascar fans can enjoy them. You can place them on the Nascar Awesome Wreckage Gallery Album
